EMERALD RIVERS "Love You Forever" is a limited-edition scarf whose design was first painted on canvas by Lithuanian artist Inga Stacinskė. Only the finished painting was digitised and transferred onto fabric, so the print preserves the layered colours, brushstroke character and mood of the original artwork. This version is dominated by emerald green, burgundy and the shades of pansy flowers.

Pansies open softly against a deep green background, while a delicately framed heart hides at the centre, resembling a piece of jewellery. It is not obvious at first glance – it has to be discovered. It is a sign of closeness that does not need to be displayed. The pansies move around the heart like memories, and the deep green gives the story calm and constancy.

The message: true feelings can be quiet, yet no less strong for it.

The 14 momme silk twill is soft and dense enough for a large scarf to drape beautifully. The natural sheen of silk brings out the rich colours of the painting and lets them shift as the scarf moves and the light changes.

The generous 100 × 100 cm format allows the scarf to be tied in many ways: around the neck, draped loosely over the shoulders, worn under a coat or blazer, tied over the head or used as an expressive accent for the whole look.

• Hand wash gently in cool or lukewarm water with a small amount of mild detergent. Do not rub, wring or twist.
• Remove excess water by carefully rolling the scarf in a clean towel. Dry flat in the shade, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
• While still slightly damp, iron lightly on the reverse side at a low temperature. Do not iron the hand-rolled edges.
