WE TRIED IT / PRACTICAL GUIDE
The front closure has only one fastening position, so the band cannot be adjusted in the same way as a traditional back-close bra. However, this type of bra can be especially useful when reaching behind the back is difficult, for example with limited shoulder or arm mobility, after injuries or fractures, or in other situations where arm movement is temporarily or permanently restricted. Racerback construction is particularly practical for women whose straps tend to slip from sloping shoulders because the straps sit closer together at the back.
A bra size is made up of a number and a letter, for example 75B, 80D or 85F. The number is the underbust measurement, the letter is the cup size.
You can work out an approximate size yourself with a tape measure. Measure without any top clothing, wearing only a well-fitting bra without padding: a tight garment compresses the breast and the result drops by several centimetres.
